The Opportunity

Based from the Gold Coast or Brisbane office locations. This is your opportunity to work for our Apprenticeship Connect Provider (ACP) Division, Australia's largest single provider.

Reporting to the Manager – Assessment Services, you will be responsible for leading, supporting and driving a team of motivated and passionate Assessment Service Consultants to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service, and Assessment Services, to Employers and Apprentices as they provide comprehensive pre-commencement guidance and support to apprentices and employers.

While managing a dynamic team, this role will also be responsible for the preparation and submission of accurate and reliable reports and other documentation required under this program.

Guided by MEGT’s Purpose and Values, this customer centric role will closely partner and collaborate with a variety of internal and external customers to support businesses and communities and in turn to create employment solutions that change lives for the better.

About you

This role is ideal for someone who is ready to take the next step and bring their savvy leadership skills, a passion for customer service and the ability to drive efficiency and performance through trailblazing team management including:

  • Outstanding leadership and people management skills, with a desire to engage and empower others
  • Experience in establishing an understanding of team member workloads, with the ability to reallocate, delegate and / or prioritise accordingly to meet divisional and organisational objectives and deadlines
  • Proven experience in identifying skills & knowledge gaps of team members, and actively supporting and empowering team members to increase capabilities by providing resources and training when required
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating and delivering accurate and timely reports and presentations
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship Support Services Program and Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector including current trends and change factors impacting the apprenticeship sector
  • Career development qualifications and experience in, or an understanding of, recruitment practices is desirable
  • Driver’s Licence and ability to travel
