Allied Credit Group in Sydney is seeking a Customer Service Officer for 6 casual roles at Macquarie Park. 2-3 days per week on site to assist with vehicle loan administration and customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• You are currently undertaking a tertiary qualification at Macquarie University and have at least 12 months remaining.
• Studies related to finance or banking preferred.
• Experience in contact centres, hospitality or retail is valuable.
• Excellent listening, clear verbal and written communication skills mandatory.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration to support phone-based staff in customer engagement.
• Respond to written correspondence from customers or dealer network.
• Manage inbound calls and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to support consumer and commercial customers.
• Take ownership of complex matters and participate in change implementation.
• Support other areas of the Operations team as needed.

The Customer Service Officer role is suited to someone who works well in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Working at the forefront of customer interactions, the Customer Service Officer will learn a broad range of processes across Allied Credit’s products and contribute to process improvements that support better business and customer outcomes.

What you will be doing

• Supporting the Customer Service function with administrative duties to allow the phone-based staff to focus on customer engagement.
• Responding to written correspondence received from customers or the dealer network.
• Managing inbound calls relating to a range of customer enquiries while delivering an exceptional experience for customers.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to effectively support consumer and commercial customers.
• Taking ownership of complex matters and participating in change implementation activities.
• Contributing to the success of the wider Operations team by supporting other areas from time to time.

Your background

• You are currently undertaking a tertiary qualification at Macquarie University and have at least 12 months remaining until completion.
• Your studies or personal interests will ideally be related to finance or banking.
• Experience working in a contact centre, hospitality, retail or other customer-facing role would be highly valued.
• You will be someone who has excellent listening skills, is able to follow instructions and be a reliable and punctual employee.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory.
