Job summary

Boral Concrete in Newcastle, NSW is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to plan driver schedules in line with customer orders and support day-to-day concrete operations.

You will manage allocations, handle calls, book orders, schedule the driver fleet, and use Command software to follow up on orders while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Regional Concrete Team. This dynamic role offers you the chance to plan driver schedules in line with customer orders while gaining broad exposure to our concrete operations.

This role is perfect for a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail, and delivers exceptional customer service.

This role has the flexibility to be based in either Mugga, ACT or Newcastle, NSW.

Your day will involve:

• Manage concrete allocations and assist with customer service administration tasks.
• Handle a high volume of phone calls (up to 50 per day during busy periods).
• Book orders and perform office admin tasks when quieter.
• Chase job completions and plan next day schedules.
• Use Command software to manage orders and follow up on large end-of-week orders.
