Job summary

Synergie is partnering with a well-established industrial business in Minto to recruit a Customer Service Administrator. This is ideal for a junior candidate or someone with customer service, administration, internal sales, or order processing experience, with full training provided.

You will manage inbound calls, process orders and quotations, and maintain accurate records while assisting with stock control and general administration. Excel and internal systems experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Customer service or administration experience required.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Able to communicate with a wide range of customers.
• Experience with Excel and internal systems.
• Industrial/manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
• Full training provided.

Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior candidate looking to start their career, or someone with previous experience in customer service, administration, internal sales, or order processing. Full training will be provided for the right person.

• 6-month temporary assignment with a view to permanent employment

What you will be required to do

• Manage inbound phone calls and emails from customers
• Process customer orders and provide quotations
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records
• Assist with stock control and inventory administration
• Purchase office supplies and support general administration tasks

To be successful in the role you will

• Have customer service, administration, retail, internal sales or office experience
• Be confident communicating with a wide range of customers
• Have a resilient and professional approach when dealing with challenging situations
• Possess strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and computer systems
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Experience within an industrial, manufacturing, building products, steel, construction or trade-related environment will be highly regarded, but is not essential
