Bendigo Bank, in Altona, VIC, is hiring a permanent, full-time Customer Relationship Officer (Personal Banker). You will assist customers with banking needs, educate on digital platforms, and recommend products while building lasting relationships in a community-focused role.

You’ll work in a dynamic team within the Retail Banking unit, delivering personalised service, supporting lending discussions, and continuing your professional development through our training programs.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to achieve sales results through solutions that truly meet customer’s needs.
• Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone.
• Ability to quickly build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Experience in consumer lending is a plus, but not essential.

Your role as a Personal Banker (known internally as a Customer Relationship Officer) is to deliver an exceptional experience by meeting customers end-to-end banking needs.

This is a permanent, full-time position located in Altona.

• Proven ability to achieve sales results through solutions that truly meet customer’s needs
• Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone
• The ability to quickly build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues
• Eagerness to understand and share what makes our bank different
• Drive for collaboration - mateship is crucial for us to work together and achieve our goals
• Experience in consumer lending - a plus but certainly not essential
