Job summary

Ampol in Melbourne is seeking a friendly Retail Team Member to warmly greet customers, help them find what they need, keep the store clean and well-stocked, and deliver service that reflects Ampol’s welcoming brand across all shifts.

You’ll handle checkout transactions, restock shelves, receive deliveries, maintain displays, and ensure a clean, safe environment from the shop floor to the forecourt, enabling a smooth, consistent customer experience every day.

Responsibilities

• Making every customer stop a great one by serving customers with a smile, helping them find what they need, preparing fresh food and coffee and keeping things moving at the checkout.
• Keeping the store looking its best by restocking shelves, receiving deliveries, maintaining displays and ensuring customers can easily find what they’re after.
• Creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment by maintaining high standards across the entire site, from the shop floor and food areas to the bathrooms and forecourt.
• Keeping the store running smoothly by, following safety procedures, handling transactions accurately and taking ownership of day-day store operations.
