Job summary

Leadout Capital seeks an experienced Security Architect to lead platform security discussions and design secure architectures. You will map customer requirements to platform controls, configure demonstrations, and produce actionable roadmaps for remediation.

The role involves collaboration with enterprise clients, field engineers and product teams, focusing on identity, data protection and cloud security across regulated industries. Remote work not specified; based in Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 8–13 years in information security architecture/engineering.
• Hands-on security architecture across identity, data protection, network, integration and logging domains.
• Deep practical knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA, federation and privileged access patterns.
• Hands-on encryption management (KMS/HSM, BYOK/HYOK), TLS/mTLS, PKI, data masking and data classification.
• Experience configuring SaaS or cloud platforms (Salesforce strongly preferred) including role and permission models, sharing and visibility, and audit logging.
• Fluency in AWS, GCP and/or Azure security architectures and native controls.
• Hands-on SIEM experience (Splunk, Chronicle, Microsoft Sentinel).
• Understanding of API security and OWASP Top 10.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, CSA STAR frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform security and security architecture discussions across diverse enterprise accounts.
• Design and document secure reference architectures for identity, data protection, network, and monitoring.
• Map customer security requirements to platform controls and remediation roadmaps.
• Configure, demonstrate and build PoCs for Salesforce security capabilities.
• Act as the technical security SME on strategic opportunities and validation sessions.
• Train teams on secure design patterns and platform security capabilities.
• Contribute to technical collateral and thought leadership.
