Rock ‘n’ Soil is seeking a casual Customer Service Officer to assist walk‑in, phone, Podium and online customers with product information and sales. You will process purchases, coordinate dispatches, and ensure accurate settlements through POS and CIN7, while maintaining stock and a tidy sales office.

Strong customer service, multitasking, and computer skills are essential. Availability across weekdays and weekends is required to support a fast-paced landscaping supplies business in Queensland.

About the Role:

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the face of Rock ‘n’ Soil, assisting our walk-in, phone, Podium, and online customers. You will provide expert product information, process purchases, and ensure timely delivery dispatches. This is a hands-on role where excellent customer service and attention to detail are key!

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Sales: Provide outstanding service to all customers (walk-ins, phone, Podium, and online), ensuring a 5-star experience every time.

Product Knowledge: Familiarise yourself with all our products and provide accurate advice to customers.

Sales Targets: Actively look for opportunities to recommend and sell our products.

Order Processing: Manage the processing of sales through POS and CIN7, handling online and B2B orders, ensuring zero errors at settlement.

Dispatch Management: Ensure smooth and efficient dispatch of deliveries, liaising with drivers and tracking deliveries for accuracy.

Administrative Support: Balance tills, maintain the sales office, and ensure stock levels are monitored. Assist with general office duties to keep operations running smoothly.

Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Availability:

As a casual Customer Service Officer, this role requires availability throughout the week and sometimes at weekends. Currently, we are seeking someone for Monday and Tuesday shifts, with additional shifts on the days when needed on a week-by-week basis.
