Job summary

Cumberland City Council is seeking a dynamic Customer Experience Officer to join our team across Merrylands, Wentworthville, Berala, Greystanes and Auburn offices. You will provide frontline service via phone, counter, and online, processing applications and certificates, with rostered hours across a 70-hour fortnight.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service across multiple channels.
• Ability to prepare regular reports and correspondence for management.
• Experience with Development Assessment, rates and staff development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service to external and internal customers face-to-face, by phone, or online.
• Process applications and requests for service, and issue certificates with cashiering where required.
• Work across multiple council sites and rostering to support service delivery.
• Monitor work volumes and identify trends to suggest improvements.
