Job description

The Solar and Battery Team play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service by responding to solar and battery enquiries via phone and email with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. As the first point of contact, this role ensures customer receive accurate information, timely assistance, and high-quality support. The Solar and Better team also ensure the accuracy, authenticity, and compliance with any documentation surrounding purchase or installation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt accurate and professional assistance via phone and email
  • Ensure verification tasks are completed accurately and promptly
  • Ensure applicant documentation is reviewed and verified in line with standard operating procedures
  • Conduct quality reviews of customer identification, adhering to compliance and privacy guidelines
  • Ensure data is entered accurately and efficiently, and matches supporting documentation
  • Verify documents to ensure the accuracy of information, including payment, equipment, and installation details
  • Process documentation relating to the purchase or installation of Solar and Battery
  • Adhere to individual KPIs, focused on quality and productivity

Key Experience Required:

  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service in a contact centre environment
  • Administration experience with a high attention to detail
  • Tech savvy and confident with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Time Management and the ability to work unsupervised

Key Requirements:

  • 37.5 hours per week, working between Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Must commit to an initial 3 month contract, with potential extension/permanent conversion
  • Must be able to provide a National Police History Check and two professional references
  • On the job training provided upon commencement
