Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Customer & Data Support Officer to drive DRIVES assurance and protect data integrity in Parramatta. Based in the Road Safety Regulation Team, you will resolve data irregularities and DRIVES system issues while supporting the Common Expiry Date scheme and CAMS administration.

This is a permanent-on-site role focused on delivering accurate customer transactions and robust data management across DRIVES, SQL queries, and licensing policies.

Qualifications

• Strong DRIVES knowledge and experience formed while working across Transport for NSW or Service NSW.
• Detailed knowledge of vehicle registration and licensing policies.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll:

Join TFNSW within the Safety, Policy, Environment & Regulations Division where you will work in the Road Safety Regulation Team as a Customer & Data Support Officer.

You will be tasked with resolving data irregularities, DRIVES system anomalies, and defect notice issues, and all matters encompassed by stakeholders participating in the Common Expiry Date scheme.

You will support the administration and end to end delivery of the Common Expiry Date scheme to provide a timely and consistent customer experience, whilst administering the Customer Action Management System (CAMS) within DRIVES to manage customer access to high-risk transactions.

You will support investigations into issues concerning the DRIVES database to support the integrity of DRIVES access and records, and you will investigate, analyse, resolve enquiries and complex matters relating to information recorded on the DRIVES database using both SQL forms and DRIVES to maintain the provision of customer transactions.

This is a Temporary Fixed Term opportunity to 1.10.27 where you will be required to work in the office located at Parramatta, NSW.

Your detailed knowledge of vehicle registration and licensing policies and procedures and strong DRIVES knowledge and experience formed while working across Transport for NSW or Service NSW will see you excel in delivering strong customer service to a variety of customers face to face , via phone and email.

You're recognised as a customer service professional with DRIVES skills across many common transactions with an understanding of data fixing in relation to these, skilled at communicating, with the ability to organise plan & prioritise your work, you will be experienced in working in a service environment where you have familiarity with vehicle registrations and licensing policies.
