We’re looking for a Customer Analyst who is passionate about retail, data and customers. This newly created role is perfect for a strategic thinker who thrives on turning data into insights and helping businesses grow.

Success in this role calls for strong analytical skills, experience in data tools and reporting platforms, and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in uncovering customer opportunities, driving engagement and loyalty, and embedding customer-first insights across the business.

Key Deliverables

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Perform detailed customer data analysis using SQL to extract insights from large datasets
  • Analyse customer behaviour and segmentation metrics to provide insights and recommendations
  • Provide trend analysis on performance, personalisation and campaign effectiveness

Strategic & Commercial Recommendations

  • Develop strategic recommendations and commercial insights for senior leadership
  • Partner with key teams to analyse purchase behaviour, basket analysis and trade activities

Reporting & Visualisation

  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or ThoughtSpot
  • Create function-specific customer views to support business teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with CRM, Marketing, Digital, Merchandise and Store teams to deliver customer-centric initiatives
  • Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to improve performance
What You'll Bring to the Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Data Science or Marketing
  • 3+ years of commercial experience, ideally in retail or supermarkets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
  • Proficiency in data tools (Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Databricks)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
