Job summary

Waverley College in Sydney seeks an inspirational Assistant Director of Teaching & Learning for the Junior School. The role leads curriculum growth, delivery, and assessment across the Junior School and reports to the Director of the Junior School.

Reporting to the Director of the Junior School, you will oversee NESA curriculum implementation, student reporting, and external testing. You will guide staff professional learning, data-informed practice, and enrichment initiatives, while engaging

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Education and current teacher registration.
• Postgraduate qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with NSW/NESA curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum design and ensure NESA compliance for the Junior School.
• Oversee student assessment, reporting, and external testing coordination.
• Mentor teaching staff and support casual teaching operations.
• Collaborate on enrichment programs and school events.
