Job summary

Diocese of Toowoomba Catholic Schools – Toowoomba QLD invites applications for a Curriculum Leader in Science and Technology at Mary MacKillop Catholic College, Highfields. The role includes leading curriculums across the college and supporting teaching excellence within a Catholic schooling environment.

The appointment includes a permanent teaching component and a fixed-term middle-leader framework, commencing January 2027 and concluding January 2030.

Qualifications

The opportunity

Joining a team of skilled professionals, this role will see you support the Principal in ensuring excellent teaching and learning in a Catholic environment, with responsibility for the leadership of the Science and Technology curriculums across the college.

You will assist the Principal by:

• providing leadership and coordination across the Science and Technology curriculums
• emphasising the centrality of teaching and learning in the life and work of the College
• promote collective responsibility and accountability for student achievement and wellbeing

About You

Demonstrated experience in leading, planning and managing the implementation of the Science and Technology curriculums.

Passionate about co-creating a nurturing school environment.

Hold or be eligible to hold registration as a teacher in Queensland.
