Responsibilities

• Leading the overall curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation across the school under Senior Leadership.
• Applying contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through whole-school PD and targeted support for teacher improvement.
• Collaborating with Curriculum Leaders, teaching staff, and Senior Leadership to review curriculum frameworks and plan future directions.
• Leading teacher performance through professional dialogue, reflective practice, and appraisal.
• Staying current with curriculum and pedagogy developments and guiding whole-school professional learning accordingly.
• Providing induction and mentoring for beginning teachers in collaboration with Senior Leadership and Curriculum Leaders.
• Supervising student learning across the school using data and implementing targeted interventions.
• Contributing to school leadership through active participation in staff and middle leadership meetings.
• Managing financial and material resources within the curriculum area, including budget planning and expenditure.
