Job summary

Lockyer District State High School, part of the Queensland Government, invites an experienced educator to join its leadership team as Head of Department Curriculum. Qualifications

• Experience leading curriculum design aligned with the Australian Curriculum V9.
• Proven ability to coordinate wellbeing and behaviour supports.
• Demonstrated capability building for faculty staff and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Lead two year levels to design curriculum and cross-curricular experiences per Australian Curriculum V9.
• Oversee cohort development days, year-level support, transition programs and assemblies.
• Lead wellbeing and Positive Behaviour for Learning initiatives.
• Develop staff capability and manage the Faculty Improvement Plan and budget.
• Contribute to school events and overall teaching quality.
