A leading educational authority in Melbourne is seeking a Curriculum Specialist, Student Diversity to provide expert advice on diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational resources. The role involves leading reviews of curriculum content, developing inclusive teaching materials, and collaborating with experts to enhance educational practices. The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in education and a strong grasp of inclusive education policies. An attractive salary is offered starting at $123,964 per annum.

The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is seeking a Curriculum Specialist, Student Diversity to ensure ACARA's advice, resources, and professional learning materials reflect the needs of all learners.

About the position:

The successful candidate will provide expert advice on diversity, equity, and inclusion, lead reviews of curriculum content, develop teacher-facing resources, and collaborate with external experts to ensure curriculum materials reflect best practice in inclusive education.

  • Provide expert advice on diversity, equity, and inclusion to guide the design of Australian Curriculum aligned and related resources.
  • Lead reviews of curriculum content and online platforms to ensure authentic representation of diverse perspectives and learner needs.
  • Develop teacher-facing resources and exemplars that promote inclusive teaching practices aligned to the Australian Curriculum.
  • Collaborate across ACARA teams and with external experts to ensure curriculum materials reflect best practice in inclusive education.

To be successful, you will have:

ACARA offers an attractive salary package dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate, commencing at $123,964 base per annum, as a full-time equivalent (plus superannuation).
