Job summary

VACCA is seeking a Nugel Practice Leader in Werribee to provide expert cultural guidance, mentor team staff, and deliver professional development that embeds Aboriginal cultural practices across the program. You will work with families, government and sector partners to reduce over-representation and build family capacity for safe, supported outcomes.

The role requires a recognised Social Work degree or Diploma in Community Services, with experience in CYFA 2005 and related welfare frameworks;

Qualifications

• Recognised Social Work degree or equivalent incl. child development focus.
• Diploma in Community Services or equivalent with trauma/case work units.
• Police check and Working with Children Check required

Responsibilities

• Provide expert cultural advice to staff and managers in Nugel team.
• Mentor staff and deliver professional development to integrate cultural practice.
• Collaborate with Aboriginal children, families, government and partners to improve outcomes
