Job summary

Procare Group is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to progress into a CTP Specialist Consultant role, exclusively supporting NSW CTP claimants. You will work with NSW/ national teams to deliver high-quality assessments and recovery recommendations, with opportunities for short-term secondments and relocation assistance.

• Registered Occupational Therapist (AHPRA).
• Experience with NSW CTP scheme preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with NSW CTP Technical Specialist and National Portfolio Manager to grow NSW CTP portfolio with focus on quality.
• Manage a portfolio of CTP assessments including ADL, Initial Needs, Return to Work, Functional, and Medicolegal assessments.
• Provide client-centred, goal-based recovery recommendations and support insurer IMAs for best practice rehabilitation.
• Mentor and train Consultants in CTP claim and injury management strategy and contribute to service development.

Job description

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to progress their career into a CTP Specialist Consultant role. Working exclusively in our NSW CTP portfolio, this role will involve supporting claimants to return to work, function, and life with all of the CTP Insurers in NSW.

Day To Day You Can Expect To

• Work with the NSW CTP Technical Specialist and National CTP Portfolio Manager to build our existing portfolio in NSW, with a focus on quality.
• Manage a portfolio of CTP specific assessments involving predominantly Complex Activities of Daily Living Assessments and Initial Needs Assessments for Return to Work, Functional Assessments and Medicolegal Assessments.
• Have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients to provide client centred / goal-based recovery recommendations.
• Work closely with Insurer IMAs to support best practice rehabilitation and establish a reputation for efficient and effective service delivery.
• Build and manage relationships with local NSW CTP Insurers including opportunities for short-term in-house secondments.
• Mentor and train our Consultants in CTP claim and injury management strategy.
• Undertake project work and be involved in exciting service development in the local CTP space.
• We are flexible with working hours, and we have scope for a full time or part time based at any of our Sydney offices including Alexandria, Parramatta or Sydney CBD. If you are looking to relocate from interstate, we can offer relocation assistance!

About You

• Occupational Therapist (with AHPRA registration).
• Experience working within the NSW CTP scheme with a comprehensive understanding of the legislation (preferred).
• Experience with complex injuries.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach.
• Current Police clearance and Working with Children Check.
