Job summary

The Procare Group is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to advance into a CTP Specialist Consultant role in NSW. You’ll support claimants to return to work and life, collaborating with NSW CTP Insurers and a national portfolio team.

Key duties include complex daily living assessments, return-to-work planning, and mentoring junior consultants. The role offers hybrid work, relocation assistance, and a rewarding incentive structure within a supportive, diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with NSW CTP Technical Specialist and National CTP Portfolio Manager to grow the NSW portfolio with a focus on quality.
• Manage CTP-specific assessments including Complex Activities of Daily Living and Initial Needs Assessments for Return to Work and Functional/Mediocre Assessments.
• Provide client-centred, goal-based recovery recommendations across diverse client ranges.
• Work with Insurer IMAs to support best practice rehabilitation and effective service delivery.
• Build and manage relationships with NSW CTP Insurers, including potential short-term in-house secondments.
• Mentor and train consultants in CTP claim and injury management strategy.
• Undertake project work and contribute to service development in the local CTP space.
• Offer flexible working hours with options for full-time or part-time roles at Sydney offices; relocation assistance available.

Job description

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to progress their career into aCTP Specialist Consultantrole. Working exclusively in our NSW CTP portfolio, this role will involve supporting claimants to return to work, function, and life with all of the CTP Insurers in NSW.Day to day you can expect to:

• Work with the NSW CTP Technical Specialist and National CTP Portfolio Manager to build our existing portfolio in NSW, with a focus on quality.
• Manage a portfolio of CTP specific assessments involving predominantly Complex Activities of Daily Living Assessments and Initial Needs Assessments for Return to Work, Functional Assessments and Medicolegal Assessments.
• Have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients to provide client centred / goal-based recovery recommendations.
• Work closely with Insurer IMAs to support best practice rehabilitation and establish a reputation for efficient and effective service delivery.
• Build and manage relationships with local NSW CTP Insurers including opportunities for short-term in-house secondments.
• Mentor and train our Consultants in CTP claim and injury management strategy.
• Undertake project work and be involved in exciting service development in the local CTP space.
• We are flexible with working hours, and we have scope for a full time or part time based at any of our Sydney offices including Alexandria, Parramatta or Sydney CBD. If you are looking to relocate from interstate, we can offer relocation assistance!

About You:

• Occupational Therapist (with AHPRA registration).
• Experience working within the NSW CTP scheme with a comprehensive understanding of the legislation (preferred).
• Experience with complex injuries.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach.
• Current Police clearance and Working with Children Check.
