Amber is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead technology strategy and architecture for our Australian operations and licensed platforms overseas. You will head the engineering org, shape AI adoption, and ensure security and regulatory compliance while reporting to the co-founder and joining the executive team.

You will oversee a growing team, drive the next phase of an ambitious energy-tech platform, and coordinate with global utilities and investors to scale across markets.

Qualificações

• Has held the top technical seat in an engineering/product group of 50–200 people.
• Remains technically current and can read a design doc and ask critical questions.
• Has worked at reputable tech/energy/industrial companies and can own consequences of decisions.
• Experience building capability and reducing dependencies; can set clear directions when not in the room.

Responsabilidades

• Define technology vision and architecture for the Australian business and licensed platforms.
• Lead the engineering organization: structure, hiring, capability, performance.
• Define and drive AI integration and strategy across engineering functions.
• Oversee engineering delivery, balancing speed, quality and predictability.
• Ensure information security and regulatory compliance across technology.
• Manage technology spend, vendor relationships, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Represent technology to board, investors, utilities, and regulators.
