Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking a Radiographer to join the Lingard Private Hospital imaging team in Merewether, NSW. You will deliver diagnostic imaging across a varied caseload, including inpatient, theatre, and mobile imaging, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography).
• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
• Experience in theatre and mobile imaging is advantageous but not essential, as training and support are provided.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care, especially with anxious or unwell patients.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic examinations for inpatients, outpatients and emergencies.
• Undertake theatre and mobile imaging, including image intensifier work.
• Produce high-quality images while prioritising patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists, referrers and hospital staff to support timely diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality and safety standards.
• Participate in an on-call roster (details discussed at interview).

About the role

Working within the imaging department at Lingard Private Hospital, you'll deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across a genuinely varied caseload. Your day will include:

• Performing general radiographic examinations for inpatients, outpatients and emergency presentations
• Undertaking theatre and mobile imaging, including image intensifier work
• Producing consistently high-quality images while prioritising patient care and safety
• Working closely with radiologists, referrers and hospital staff to support timely diagnosis
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality and safety standards
• Participating in an on-call roster (details discussed at interview)

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent
