Peninsula Private Hospital, part of Healthscope, seeks a dedicated CSSD Technician to join our perioperative team in a full-time capacity. You will oversee decontamination, sterilisation, assembly and distribution of surgical instruments, ensuring quality and patient safety.

This role suits an experienced CSSD professional or someone aiming to grow in a supportive hospital environment. Applicants should hold Cert III, have instrument knowledge and sterilisation skills, and be willing to work on

Qualifications

• Cert III qualification is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation.
• Sound knowledge of sterilisation techniques.
• Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas.
• Operate, interpret and document all machinery operational requirements.
• Report and document all quality activities.
• Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes.

Peninsula Private is a 65-bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 6 operating theatres and a new high dependency unit to open in the near future, located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula.
