Job summary

Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Queensland) is seeking a PO5 Crown Prosecutor to join Southport Chambers in Southport on a permanent full-time basis. You will appear as lead counsel in superior court trials and provide advice on complex criminal matters to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

You will mentor legal officers and support staff, engage with judges, defence counsel, police, witnesses, and victims, and contribute to ODPP initiatives while handling circuit work across

• Admitted as a Legal Practitioner in an Australian State or Territory (include admission date).
• Experience appearing as lead counsel in superior court trials and criminal proceedings.
• Ability to mentor and supervise legal officers and support staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
