Job summary

Cairns Private Hospital in tropical Cairns is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for our 8-bedded unit focused on high dependency and cardiac care. You will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care while delivering compassionate service to patients and families.

To succeed, you should have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and at least 2 years of recent critical care experience, with excellent communication skills and roster flexibility.

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years' recent critical care experience is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster.
• Formal qualifications in Critical Care desirable, but not essential.

As a Critical Care Registered Nurse,you will be responsible for providing outstanding clinical care and exceptional customer service to patients and their families. This will involve assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each individual patient in your care.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skill set with extensive experience in critical care.

Remuneration:On offer for this position is a base hourly rate of$39.96 - $54.01+ superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 Gr1-Gr8*).
