Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking dedicated professionals to join the Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service in Blacktown. You will deliver crisis counselling and trauma-informed care to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence from our Blacktown Community Health Centre.

The role offers permanent, full-time employment with a 38-hour week, working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside clinicians, police and community partners to support vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver crisis counselling, advocacy, support and information to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence
• Facilitate access to medical and forensic services while working collaboratively with key stakeholders
• Provide short-term case management, risk assessment and psychosocial support to clients with complex needs
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call roster supporting adults and young people following recent sexual assault
• Contribute to integrated care through joint case management, referrals, consultation, community engagement and capacity‑building initiatives

Join the Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service (IVPRS), a specialist service providing leadership, clinical care and capacity building across sexual assault, domestic violence and child protection. Working from Blacktown Community Health Centre, you will be part of a highly skilled and compassionate team dedicated to supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

• Work within a respected specialist service supporting violence, abuse and neglect portfolios
• Collaborate with counsellors, clinicians, forensic medical staff, police and community partners
• Be part of a supportive team that values reflective practice, cultural safety and collective care
• Contribute to innovative, integrated service delivery across Western Sydney
• Access opportunities for professional development, supervision and ongoing learning
