Overview

WA Cricket is seeking an energetic and organised Cricket Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role will be central in ensuring the smooth administration of WA Cricket’s Female Premier Club competitions along with the delivery of match day operations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate training, catering, medical, and match day staffing logistics.
  • Oversee purchase orders and invoices through the Basware system.
  • Lead match day operations, including staff coordination, PMOA management, and Duckworth-Lewis operation.
  • Act as the key contact for home and away teams, ensuring a professional match day experience.
  • Liaise with Match Officials and Cricket Australia to support smooth delivery of games.
  • Drive improvements by developing efficient competition and match operations systems.
  • Administer Female Premier Club competitions (Senior & Junior), including fixtures, rules, registrations, and clearances.
  • Provide training and guidance to club administrators while fostering strong stakeholder partnerships.
  • Manage competition communications, including digital content, website updates, and awards night coordination.
  • Oversee club grant payments and support female cricket stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in Business Management, Sports Administration or a related field.
  • Strong computer literacy and administration skills.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in sports administration.
  • Proven experience delivering and managing sporting events.
  • Solid knowledge of cricket rules and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and stay flexible under pressure.
  • Knowledge, experience, and networks within WA Premier Cricket (desirable).
  • A Working with Children Card (desirable).
  • A valid ‘C’ class driver’s licence and reliable transport (desirable).
