Job summary

Pizza Hut Australia is seeking Crew Members to join a friendly team dedicated to delivering great pizza and memorable customer experiences. You will handle orders, operate the POS, assemble and package meals, and help maintain cleanliness and safety across shifts.

Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask during peak periods. Training will be provided, and reliability during daytime hours is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast food is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service in person, on the phone, or for delivery.
• Take orders through the POS system.
• Prepare and package orders for pickup and delivery.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Handle money and coupons accurately and reconcile transactions.
• Keep staff informed about policies and procedures.
• Assist with restocking and cleaning during shifts.

Pizza Hut Australia is on a mission to be the first choice on Australia's lips when it comes to ordering a great pizza to share with family and friends.

As a Crew Member you will be part of a great team that prepares and serves delicious pizza and creates feel-good customer experiences through every interaction. You will maintain a well presented, clean and safe restaurant whilst utilising your strong time management and multi-tasking skills during the peak periods in the restaurants.

Key responsibilities

Delivering exceptional customer service, every time whether that be in person or on the phone or on a delivery.

Take customer orders through our POS system

Pack and handover hot orders to customers and delivery drivers

Attend to customer concerns.

Organise all pizzas appropriately to be delivered to customers.

Maintain optimal level of hygiene for all pizzas.

Manage and maintain record of all money and coupons collected from customers and manage all credit card accounts.

Maintain knowledge on all operations of pizza oven and ensure compliance to all company standards.

Participate in training programs and keep up to date with policies / procedures.

Clean and maintain equipment and work area associated with the job function.

Complete dishwashing duties and other cleaning projects in between orders.

Assist the restocking and replenishment of product and supplies as stipulated in the shift duties.

Promote pizza hut products and distribute promotional materials.

What we are looking for

Previous experience in the fast food industry, but not essential. Just bring a keen attitude

Possess suitable communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our customers.

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift objects exercising proper ergonomic practices.

Have exceptional grooming and hygiene habits for food safety and compliance purposes.

Must be available during the day.
