Job summary

Encore Global in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to lead installation, operation and removal of AV setups at premium venues. You will deliver seamless shows from corporate functions to large productions, collaborating with clients, venue staff and crews to ensure flawless execution.

You will bring hands‑on expertise in audio, lighting and video, with familiarity of Barco PDS/S3, Yamaha QL/CL and GrandMA systems, plus a customer‑first mindset and the ability to mentor

Qualifications

• Proven experience in audio, lighting, and video for live events.
• Strong technical knowledge of Barco PDS/S3, Yamaha QL/CL and GrandMA systems.
• Hybrid/virtual event delivery experience desirable.
• Willingness to travel and work after hours.

About the Role

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in audio, lighting, and video system setupsfor live events
• Strong technical expertise in:Barco PDS and S3 switching systems,Yamaha QL and CL audio consoles,GrandMA lighting control systems(programming experience highly regarded)
• Hybrid & Virtual event delivery experience
• Camera operation skills (desirable)
• Familiarity with scenic setups: drapes, stage skirts, truss borders
• Ability to lead crews and mentor junior technicians
• Excellent client-facing communication and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail, and calm under pressure
• A polished, professional presentation with a customer-first mindset
• Flexibility for after-hours, weekend work, and occasional travel
• Rigger’s Ticket (highly desirable)
