Job summary

ING Bank Personeel B.V. is expanding its Retail Credit Risk team on a 14-month fixed-term contract in Sydney, Australia.

You will deliver data-driven insights to support risk decisions, work with stakeholders across Risk, Data and Technology, and help drive automation and AI-enabled capabilities within the function. Ideal candidates have strong SQL, data analysis and reporting skills with experience in retail lending products, and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement in a fast-paced

• Experience in credit risk analytics within banking or financial services.
• Proven SQL, data analysis and reporting capabilities; experience with Tableau/PowerBI or similar.
• Knowledge of retail lending products and credit risk management principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks and trends across Retail and SME lending portfolios.
• Deliver meaningful reporting, analysis and insights to support risk management and business decisions.
• Partner with Risk, Data and Technology to enhance reporting, data quality and analytical capabilities.
• Contribute to strategic, regulatory and transformation initiatives strengthening ING's risk framework.
• Leverage data, automation and innovative technologies to improve reporting and portfolio insights.

As we continue to invest in data, analytics and innovation, we're expanding our Retail Credit Risk team and are looking for talented professionals to make a real impact in a team that is transforming how risk insights support better customer and business outcomes.

Please note this is a 14 months fixed term contract

Whetheryou'rean experienced analyst looking to deepen yourexpertiseor a risk professional ready to drive strategic initiatives,you'llplay a critical role in delivering insights that support better decision-making, enhance portfolioperformanceand strengthen ING's risk management capabilities.

Working closely with stakeholders across Risk, Data and Technology,you'llcontribute to portfolio monitoring, risk reporting, data transformationinitiativesand the development of innovative analytical solutions.

You'llhave the opportunity to influence key business decisions, improve how risk data is managed and consumed, and help drive the adoption of automation and AI-enabled capabilities across the function.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Experience in credit risk analytics, portfolio monitoring, risk reporting or risk data management within banking or financial services.
• ProvenSQL, data analysis and reporting capabilities, with experience using tools such as Tableau, PowerBIor similar platforms.
• Knowledge of retail lending products and an understanding of credit risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• A curious and proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement,innovationand emerging technologies, including AI.
