Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage provider credentialing files and related billing tasks to support reimbursement for behavioral health services. The role focuses on Medicaid, with potential work with Medicare and private payers.

The position offers a competitive pay range of $23.85–$28.02 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, a 401(k) with employer match, and EAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, credentialing, or related field preferred.
• 1 year of credentialing experience in Ohio Behavioral Health Medicaid required.
• 3 years of experience using an electronic health record system to process claims preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain provider credentialing files with up-to-date government and payer information.
• Track enrollment with CMS, MACs, PECOS, NPPES, CAQH; ensure portal access.
• Update CAQH/NPPES/PECOS files and CMS provider profiles as required.
• Coordinate credentialing, re-credentialing, and contracting with insurers.
• Follow up with managed care organizations and payers at various stages.
