Job summary

Brent Street Pty. is seeking a Social Media Producer for maternity cover at 4WD Supacentre, Sydney. You will craft content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts, and present on camera across educational, product and live event formats.

You'll work with production teams to capture and edit high-energy videos, turn user content into social proof, and write punchy Aussie captions. Analyze data to refine strategy and stay ahead of trends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing social channels for fast-paced retail, agency or digital media.
• Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut preferable).
• Proven track record growing organic reach, views and engagement across platforms.
• Confidence to be on camera producing videos.
• Solid understanding of social analytics and audience behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for content strategy & creation across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts.
• Present on camera across educational/product content, price/deal‑based video ads, and live on‑the‑ground event coverage.
• Work closely with video production and presenter teams to capture, edit, and publish high‑energy short‑form video on the fly.
• Turn user‑generated content, customer trip photos, and real‑world 12V/camping setups into authentic social proof.
• Write punchy, relatable, Aussie‑toned captions that read like a mate giving solid advice – not a corporate pitch.
• Track engagement rates, audience growth, reach, and social‑driven web traffic to refine what works.
• Continuously test new formats, hooks, audio, and posting strategies to beat platform algorithms.
• Keep an eye on competitor moves and digital trends to ensure our brands remain ahead of the curve.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience managing social channels for a fast‑paced retail brand, agency, or digital media output.
• Strong short‑form video editing skills (CapCut preferable).
• Proven track record of growing organic reach, views, and engagement across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube.
• Confidence to get in‑front of the camera to produce videos.
• Solid understanding of social analytics, social SEO, and digital audience behaviour.
