MAAP is looking for a Creative Studio Manager to join the team. You'll be the driving force behind the Creative Team's operational excellence; bringing structure, visibility and momentum to a fast-moving environment where ideas become campaigns, launches, content and experiences seen around the world.

Born in Melbourne and worn around the world, MAAP exists to propel cycling forward through a relentless pursuit of performance, design and culture. We create products and experiences that challenge convention, inspire movement and elevate the sport.

As we continue to grow globally, we're looking for a Creative Studio Manager to build the operational foundation that enables exceptional creative work to happen at scale.

THE ROLE

This is a newly created role and a critical one. Reporting to the Head of Creative, you'll be the driving force behind the Creative Team's operational excellence; bringing structure, visibility and momentum to a fast-moving environment where ideas become campaigns, launches, content and experiences seen around the world.

The Creative Studio Manager is responsible for the Creative Team's operational excellence, ensuring that exceptional creative work is delivered on time, on budget, and with complete visibility for stakeholders.

Acting as the connective tissue between the Marketing, Product and Creative teams, this role manages project intake, prioritisation, workflow, resourcing, budgets and production. You will be ensuring priorities are clear, resources are aligned and projects move seamlessly from brief to delivery.

You will:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end creative workflow from intake through delivery.
  • Lead project briefing, prioritisation, scheduling and resource allocation across the Creative Team.
  • Build and maintain production timelines, campaign calendars and project plans.
  • Drive adoption and optimisation of Asana and other workflow systems.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Product teams to ensure briefs are clear, complete and strategically aligned.
  • Provide visibility on project status, team capacity, timelines and risks.
  • Manage creative budgets, estimates and production spend.
  • Coordinate external partners including freelancers, photographers, videographers, agencies and production vendors.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency without compromising creative quality.
  • Create an environment where creatives can focus on what they do best: producing exceptional work.
THE CANDIDATE

You are equal parts project manager, operator, strategist and relationship builder. You understand the realities of creative work and know how to balance structure with flexibility. You're highly organised, commercially minded and calm under pressure, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and bring stakeholders together around shared outcomes.

You'll bring:

  • 8+ years' experience in creative operations, studio management, production, brand operations or project management.
  • Experience managing complex creative workflows across multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency with Asana or similar project management platforms.
  • A deep understanding of the creative development process from briefing through execution.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and external production costs.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to continually improve how work gets done.
WHY MAAP?

You'll help shape the systems behind one of the world's most progressive cycling brands. You'll join a team that values design, creativity, ambition, collaboration and craftsmanship. A team that believes great work comes from great people having the space, support and trust to do what they do best.
