YOMG is seeking a Marketing Assistant in Melbourne to support the Marketing Manager across a broad range of marketing, content and brand initiatives. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career looking for hands-on experience with a fast-growing Australian hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Qualifications or early career experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field.
• Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
• Understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current social media trends.
• Eye for great content, design and branding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with influencers, businesses and community partners.
• Experience creating and editing photo or video content is highly regarded.

• Influencer Relations – researching contacting and coordinating influencers and content creators.
• Community & Networking – building relationships with local businesses, sporting clubs, schools, organisations and community groups.
• Google Review Management – monitoring reviews and coordinating on-brand responses.
• Campaign Support – assisting with product launches, promotions, events and marketing campaigns.
• Marketing Administration – keeping campaigns, contacts, content and marketing activity organized.
• Store Support – working with Operations and store teams to bring marketing initiatives to life locally.

We’re looking for an energetic and creative Marketing Assistant to join YOMG and work closely with our Marketing Manager across a broad range of marketing, content and brand initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who wants to get hands-on experience with a fast-growing Australian hospitality brand.

You’ll be involved in everything from content creation and graphic design to local store marketing, brand collaborations, influencers and community engagement.

No two weeks at YOMG are the same, and this role will give you exposure to marketing across our growing network of locations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you’ll assist with:

• Content Creation – helping create engaging social content across Instagram, TikTok and other YOMG channels
• Graphic Design – creating and adapting digital, social, in-store and promotional marketing assets
• Local Area Marketing – supporting our stores with local campaigns, events, partnerships and community initiatives
• Brand Collaborations – helping identify and coordinate opportunities with brands, businesses and community partners
• Influencer Relations – researching, contacting and coordinating influencers and content creators
• Community & Networking – building relationships with local businesses, sporting clubs, schools, organisations and community groups
• Google Review Management – monitoring reviews and helping coordinate timely, on-brand responses
• Campaign Support – assisting with YOMG product launches, promotions, events and marketing campaigns
• Marketing Administration – keeping campaigns, contacts, content and marketing activity organised
• Store Support – working with YOMG Operations and store teams to bring marketing initiatives to life at a local level

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is creative, organised and genuinely excited about brands, hospitality, social media and marketing.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Qualifications or early career experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field
• Graphic design experience, particularly with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
• A good understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current social media trends
• An eye for great content, design and branding
• Confidence communicating with influencers, businesses and community partners
• Great organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• A proactive attitude — you’re happy to bring ideas to the table and make things happen

Experience creating and editing photo or video content would be highly regarded.
