Job summary

Four Fashion Australia is a Collingwood-based fashion design house seeking a full-time Fashion Designer to lead concept development from initial idea to final production. You will create concept boards, sketches and technical specs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver market-ready collections.

You will work across the entire design process, stay ahead of trends and contribute to the brand's aesthetic while ensuring production feasibility and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or related discipline.
• Proven fashion designer with studio or brand experience.
• Strong proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of CLO or similar 3D design tools is preferred.
• Excellent drawing and rendering skills to communicate ideas.
• Solid understanding of garment construction and production techniques.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present original fashion concepts and mood boards.
• Conduct trend research to inform design direction.
• Create sketches, technical drawings and specs for garments.
• Source fabrics and trims aligned with design vision.
• Collaborate with pattern makers, samplers and production teams.
• Refine designs based on sampling feedback and fit testing.
• Participate in design meetings to communicate concepts.
• Manage multiple design projects and deadlines.
• Stay informed of industry trends and market developments.
• Contribute to brand aesthetic and creative direction.
