Job summary

Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong is seeking a temporary part-time classroom teacher to begin 28 January 2027 and run until 6 August 2027. The successful applicant will teach Creative Arts including Music, Dance, and Drama in a school setting.

Applicants should have appropriate qualifications in Teaching - Creative Arts, be accredited with NSW's NESA, and be prepared to support liturgical events. WWCC clearance is required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School.
• Experience in teaching Creative Arts - Music, Dance and Drama.
• Assistance with liturgical events.
• Ability to implement differentiated learning and assessment experiences for NSW Creative Arts syllabus.
• Experience in leading school band and choir programs.
• Positive strategies for managing student behaviour and high expectations for learning within the SPB4L Framework.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
