Job summary

Akcelo is seeking a Finance Director to own the integrity, timeliness and insight of financial reporting across our multi-entity Australian group and global operations. You will lead a three-person finance team, run month-end close, consolidation, and review payroll, tax and intercompany activity.

This senior role partners with management to drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and commercial decision-making, and requires strong technical accounting skills, governance and a passion for people

Qualifications

• CA or CPA with degree in accounting, finance or commerce.
• Experience leading multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation.
• Agency/creative industry background advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition, payroll, BAS, FBT and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and consolidation for Australian entities.
• Consolidate results from international operations into Group reporting.
• Oversee payroll processing for ~215 staff across entities.
• Manage intercompany accounting and group reporting.
• Oversee UK entity reporting and external accounting relationship.
• Provide budget, forecast and commercial insights to leadership.
