Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced crane operator for a flagship Western Australia infrastructure project. You will operate mobile or tower cranes, read lift plans, and work with riggers and dogmen to ensure safe, efficient lifts on a busy multi-trade site.

The role offers long-term stability with ongoing opportunities as works are awarded. Applicants should hold a current High Risk Work Licence (CN/C2/C6 as relevant), have strong knowledge of lift plans and load charts, and demonstrate a genuine

Qualifications

• High Risk Work Licence (CN/C2/C6) current and unrestricted.
• Experience reading lift plans and load charts.
• Demonstrated safety-first approach on-site.
• Experience on large infrastructure or industrial projects is highly regarded.

The Project

The Alkimos Desalination Plant Project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.

The Role

You'll operate mobile or tower cranes to lift and place materials and plant across the site. You'll read and follow lift plans, work closely with riggers and dogmen to execute each lift safely, and inspect your crane before and after each shift. You'll coordinate with site supervisors to sequence lifts around a busy, multi-trade work site.

Required Skills and Competencies

What you need

• High Risk Work Licence (CN, C2 or C6 as relevant), current and unrestricted
• Strong understanding of lift plans, load charts and rigging communication
• A genuine safety first attitude
• Experience on large infrastructure or industrial projects, highly regarded
