Job summary

Mineral Resources is actively seeking experienced Crane Operators C1|CO to join our construction teams for upcoming iron ore and lithium projects across the Pilbara and Goldfields regions of WA.

You will perform daily crane inspections, follow signals, assess loads, and work with riggers and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient lifts on site. A White Card, HRWL C1/CO, unlimited Australian working rights, and a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining/construction/resources industry.
• HRWL – C1 or CO.
• Construction White Card.
• Unlimited Australian working rights.
• Pre-employment Medical and Drug/Alcohol Screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety protocols and procedures for a safe, efficient work environment.
• Complete daily site crane inspections prior to start-up and record findings.
• Follow hand signals, radio communications, or written instructions with riggers and site supervisors.
• Observe rigging techniques prior to lifts to ensure safe, rated lifts.
• Assess load weights and ensure within crane capacity.
• Crane operation installing steel structures, heavy mechanical equipment, and camp accommodation buildings.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
