Job summary

Cosmo Cranes Group Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated 3rd or 4th year Electrical Apprentice to gain hands-on experience with cranes and heavy equipment. You will work in both our workshop and on-site in the field, learning practical skills from an experienced electrician and the wider team.

The role includes electrical maintenance, fault-finding, wiring and component replacements, and reading electrical drawings.

Qualifications

Currently completing your 3rd or 4th year of an electrical apprenticeship.
Interest in electrical systems, machinery and fault-finding.
Reliable, punctual and motivated to learn.
Comfortable working in both workshop and field environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with electrical maintenance, servicing and repairs on cranes and associated equipment.
Develop skills in fault-finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist with electrical wiring, installations and component replacements.
Learn crane electrical systems, controls, sensors, motors and components.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Assist with preventative maintenance and inspections for safety and reliability.
Attend field jobs to support electrical work on cranes and equipment.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with electrician and team to build technical knowledge.
