Job summary

swaggie is seeking a Bartender to mix and serve cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar in Sydney. You will ensure guests are served promptly and drinks meet high quality standards.

Responsibilities include cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area while following standard recipes and ensuring guest satisfaction. Weekend and holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school education is a minimum requirement.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages.
• Certification requirements may apply as needed.
• Must be able to stand or move for extended periods.
• Must be able to work during weekends, holidays, or when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the bar and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages as requested.
• Check guests' identification and ensure that they are of legal drinking age.
• Ensure that the bar area is clean and organized at all times.
• Stock the bar with supplies, including beverages, garnishes, ice, and glassware.
• Receive and manage cash transactions according to established policies.
• Maintain a detailed inventory of alcohol products and supplies.
• Follow standard recipes to ensure consistent quality of drinks.
• Check guests for overall satisfaction and handle any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
