Steer Dining Room in Melbourne is seeking a skilled bartender to prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks with speed and precision.

You will maintain a clean, stocked bar and provide outstanding customer service while collaborating with the kitchen to ensure seamless service. RSA required within 30 days; role starts within two weeks. 30–36 hours per week, Tue–Sat evenings.

Formación

• 1-2 years of experience as a cocktail bartender or similar role in a high-volume hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, bartending techniques, and liquor products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of extended classics cocktail repertoire with advanced mixing techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with speed and precision.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area for efficient operations.
• Providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Adhering to food safety and liquor licensing regulations at all times.
• RSA certificate must be obtained within 30 days of commencement.
• Available to commence within 2 weeks of job offer.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
• Inventory management and stock control.
• Preparation of spirit infusions, cocktail batches, and garnishes.
• Polishing cutlery, plates and glassware.
