Redpath Mining in New South Wales seeks a Charge Up Operator to safely charge development and production headings underground at Lake Cowal. You will work under the Underground Supervisor, reporting to site procedures and blasting standards.

The role emphasizes safe charging, pre-start checks, accurate reporting, and collaboration with underground crews to meet production targets. A Shotfirer's Licence and a current Australian Driver's Licence are preferred for the position.

Qualifications

• Previous underground Charge Up or Shotfirer experience.
• Current Shotfirer's Licence or ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Experience in underground metalliferous mining operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient charging of development and production headings while ensuring all blasting activities are executed in accordance with site procedures and legislative requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous underground Charge Up or Shotfirer experience.
• Current Shotfirer's Licence or ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Experience working within underground metalliferous mining operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.
