Job summary

Federal Court of Australia is seeking a Court Support Coordinator to assist in the daily management and operation of NSW/ACT courtrooms and hearings. The role includes supervising casual court officers, coordinating courtroom logistics, and ensuring the smooth functioning of video conferencing and related technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage courtroom allocation across NSW and ACT registries.
  • Oversee casual court officers, including training and allocation.
  • Oversee in-court technology and liaise with providers.
  • Coordinate attendance of litigants with external agencies.
  • Provide training for in-court processes; manage videoconference procedures.
  • Correspond with practitioners and staff regarding videoconference procedures.
  • Assist with court events and ceremonies.
  • Handle other administrative duties such as room allocations.
  • Assist other Court Support Coordinators in remote locations.
