Job summary

ALS Life Sciences in Scoresby, VIC, is seeking a full-time Courier/Sampler to join the Client Services team. You will manage Melbourne metro client pick-ups, assist in lab sample processing, and ensure timely return while maintaining professionalism. The role requires fitness, up to 15kg lifting, and a valid driver's license.

Standard hours are 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime. You will drive to client sites, coordinate schedules, and adapt to changing courier runs

Qualifications

• Experience as a Courier / Driver.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Cooling Tower sampling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of air and water sampling preferred.
• Ability to plan and execute the logistics of the day, with sound time management.
• Flexibility in responding to ad hoc changes in task or schedules.

About the Role

ALS Food & Pharmaceutical Division operates a state-of-the-art analytical laboratory in Scoresby, VIC, serving a diverse client base. We are seeking a full-time Courier/Sampler to join our dedicated Client Services team, committed to delivering high-quality results consistently and on time.

In this role, you will manage client pick-up requests primarily in the Melbourne metro area, with occasional longer trips. You will assist in processing samples in the lab and ensure their timely return, all while maintaining a professional approach. We value self-management, logical mind-set, and strong common sense.

The role requires general physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 15kg, and a clean driver's license.

The role requires flexibility, although the standard hours are 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday, and potential overtime as needed.

Day to Day

• Client focus - organising your daily work to achieve the best outcome for our customers.
