Job summary

ALS operates a state-of-the-art analytical laboratory in Scoresby, VIC. We are seeking a full-time Courier/Sampler to join our Client Services team, focusing on client pick-ups in the Melbourne metro area and occasional longer trips.

You will assist in lab processing, ensure timely sample return, and maintain a professional approach. The role requires physical fitness, up to 15kg lifting, a clean driver’s license, and a 7:00 AM–3:15 PM, Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience as a courier/driver.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and execute daily logistics with time management.

Responsibilities

• Organise daily work to achieve best outcomes for customers.
• Drive company vehicle to collect samples from client sites and pickup locations.
• Complete courier schedules safely and on time.
• Adapt to unplanned changes in courier run to meet ad hoc client requests.
• Conduct sampling according to defined procedures and schedule.
