Job summary

SJMV Pty Ltd on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an owner-driver to deliver Australia Post parcels. You’ll work in a small, concentrated zone with morning sorts and team loading at the processing facility. This peak Christmas period offers training starting 2 November and potential ongoing work into the New Year.

Ideal candidates are reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused drivers with an unrestricted licence and ABN. Vans available to hire if needed.

Qualifications

• Must have ABN or be willing to apply for one.
• Owner driver with own 1–2 tonne van for parcel deliveries.
• Must own and operate vehicle suitable for parcel deliveries.
• Must have full Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Australia Post parcel deliveries within a small, concentrated zone.
• Team parcel sorting/loading at Sunshine Coast facility.
• Join an Awesome Team environment and work as an essential service.
• Morning sorts and daily delivery duties, with Saturday work during peak.

Job description

We are a Business Partner delivering parcels for Australia Post on the Sunshine Coast.

This is a great opportunity to join a team of drivers and earn some extra dollars in the lead up to Christmas.

Deliver Christmas Cheer by delivering parcels for 2 months over our Peak Christmas period with the opportunity for continued work in the New Year. Training to commence the first week in November.

This position is for an Owner Driver, however if you don't have a van but would like to take this opportunity to experience life as a courier we have opportunities available to suit your needs during this peak period.

What we're looking for

Exceptional Customer Service

Self Motivate and work Independently while Delivering

Safe & Confident Driver with an Unrestricted Licence

RELIABILITY A MUST

Must have an ABN or willing to apply for one

Owner Driver

Must own and operate a 1 or 2 tonne van suitable for parcel deliveries

Hire Vans are available at reduced rates for the right applicants

Work as a Valued Team Member during morning sorts

Delivery experience a bonus but not essential

Required to undergo full Australia Post Police Check

Must have full Australian work rights
