Job summary

Middy’s Electrical is seeking an experienced Counter Sales professional to join our branch team in Australia. You will provide exceptional customer service, process transactions accurately, and support the day-to-day operations of the branch.

With a focus on at-the-counter service and sales, you'll contribute to branch targets while upholding our values of integrity and teamwork. This full-time role offers a supportive environment and opportunities for growth within a national organisation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in the electrical wholesale industry.
• Previous Point of Sale experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with product enquiries.
• Process cash and credit sales accurately in line with company policies.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to branch sales and gross profit targets.
• Support in-branch promotions, displays and identify opportunities for add-on sales.
• Manage customer quotes, credits and enquiries at the point of sale.
• Maintain high presentation standards across the counter, displays and branch.
• Build positive customer relationships and help resolve customer concerns with the Branch Manager.
• Maintain accurate information across branch systems and support continuous improvement.
• Follow company policies, procedures and QHSE requirements.
