Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Counselling or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year post-qualification counselling experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and techniques.
• Excellent active listening and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse client populations and presenting issues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
• Current Working with Children Check desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy programs, delivering prescribed exercises and mobility programs.
• Monitor progress, maintain case notes and clinical documentation to standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated client care.
• Provide crisis support and safety planning when required.
