Job summary

Austal Defence Australia (ADA) is seeking a Cost Controller in Fremantle, WA to oversee cost control across projects, track budgets and forecasts within an EVM environment, and provide timely financial insights.

You will work with Project Managers, CAMs, Supply Chain, Finance, Production and Engineering to maintain CBS, monitor cost drivers and variances, and ensure compliance with EVMS and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Monitor, analyse and report project costs to support delivery and financial objectives.
• Prepare and maintain cost forecasts, budgets and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS).
• Identify cost drivers, risks, opportunities and variances with insights for decision-making.
• Support EVMS reporting, KPI tracking and performance analysis across cost, schedule and scope.
• Ensure compliance with cost control frameworks, EVMS requirements and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities
